I try to start the truck and wont stay on, truck stays on only if i keep it accelerated. Cleaned the fuel lines and put new fuel filters and still wont stay on what could it be?

Have you tried to set curb idle speed? Have you tried adjusting the air fuel mixture? Does this vehicle have points and condenser?

Setting carb idle speed necessary? Since truck has been running good for past years. Could it be that truck has old fuel in it since i havnt pored any in a while?

How old is the fuel in the tank? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?
