Hello,
I have a 72' Chevy Chevelle with 350 and an Edelbrock 1406 600cfm Performer Carburetor on it. I put gas in the car to start it and it wont start, it just turns over. i tried putting carb cleaner in the carb to try to start it. i also tried a lil gas in the carb. i also took one of the spark plugs out to see if it was wet. any info that may help?

is there points or electronic ignition? see if getting spark first so check cap rotor cap andcoil. then put a jar and see if gas is coming from pump.. first. if electronic ignition is it stock?
