all the lights work on car, tail lights.turn signals. emergency lights but when I hit brakes the left brake light want shine I have new bulbs and power

If you have power to the socket and the bulb is good (new), then the socket must be bad and not making contact with the bottom of the bulb. If you push in on the bulb, see if it will light. Be careful not to break the glass. Also, make sure you have the correct bulb. If it is a duel element (and I believe it is) it should be an 1157.
