My 69 mustang is leaking from the transmission. It looks like it is leaking from the bolts on the pan. The fluid is a light yellow. Is it the gasket possibly? Any ideas on why it is leaking?

Use a spray bottle degreaser (I use purple power, keep it off of your paint) and clean the the pan, anything nearby with "juice" hanging from it, etc. Blast it well with water...Dry it off, a bit, with a towel.

Take it for a drive to dry completely, and also to "Leak"

Then look for your leak, if it's faint or hard to find the trail....Throw a handful of flour at the suspected area

Let me know how your baking goes!
