have transmission fluid on the floor

I have a 1969 buick skylark it has a buick 350 cid with a 350 transmission. The transmission shifts good going down the road when I get home and park the car all is good. I can come out and ck it 1 or 2 hours later all is good. But the next day ill come out and have transmission fluid on the floor. The only leak Is at the transmission filler tube I have changed the oring 3 times and have replaced the filler tube I got the parts from year one so that is where iam at sure hope you can help me

If I understand this correctly then you have a leak from the dipstick where the tube goes into the unit?

If this is the case and you have replaced the tube, then the issue is in the case being worn and not allowing a good seal.

This means you have a choice of replacing the unit or trying to seal this using a silicone sealant or larger o-ring to try and take up any imperfections.

If it were me, I would get a sealant and try and clean the surface and see if you can seal this rather than replacing the unit.
