having problems with my carb and need help

i have a rochester 2bbl carb and i brought the right kit but i have a holly 2bbl float will that fit in the rochester carb

You need to make sure the Holley float pivots properly. You also need to make sure it doesn't leak. Your best bet is to get the right float.
