fuel gauge

fuel gauge when the car is of read 3/4 full. when you put the on goes to full even if the car is have 2 gallons or 6 gallons of gas. i replace the sending unit, clean the ground wire and still do the same .help please.

You need to check the voltage to the gauge. There could be something shorting it causing too much power to be sent. By the way, great car!!!

PS: Please keep in mind the gauge itself could be bad.
