JUST HAD HEAD GASKETS CHANGED ALSO BLOCK WAS CHECKED AND IT WAS OK

What is the fuel pressure? If it is too low, it will boil and vapor lock

No, but it will cause it to shut off.
Did you replace the thermostat?
Did you have the motor bored out? If you did, how much oversize?

I DIDN'T DO THE WORK. AFTER THE HEAD GASKET WORK IT IS STILL DOING THE SAME THING AS BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE. IT IS BACK IN THE SHOP AND THEY ARE TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT. THANKS!
MY CAR IS A '34 CHEV STREETROD--AN OLD '80S RESTO I HAVE OWNED SINCE '56. MY LATE HUSBAND AND I WORKED ON IT TOGETHER. I HAVE FORGOTTEN ALOT. I HELPED WITH IT -FRAME ENGINE ETC.
