CAN YOU GET SOMEONE TO HOLD THE OUTSIDE HANDLE OPEN (AND OUT OF THE WAY)---GIVE IT A GOOD SWIFT KICK WHILE LAYING IN THE SEAT?

THIS HAS WORKED WELL SEVERAL TIME ON OTHER CARS FOR ME

A BLANKET OR CARDBOARD MIGHT PROTECT THE IMPACT AREA
