1965 Ford Mustang Horn Wasnt Working Installed New Turn Signal Wire Harness

My horn wasnt working so I installed a new turn signal / horn wire harness in the steering column. After putting everything back together now the horn blows all the time without mashing the horn ring down .I have double checked everything and even put new parts in the horn ring . The horn does not blow with the horn ring off .

then your problem is i the ring. there is contact where there should not be.
