64 new yorker

cant get the left rear drum off of a 1964 new yorker... any tips?

Tap around on the drum with hammer, maybe knock some rust loose? On the backside of the brake backing plate, there should be a an adjustment slot for the star-wheel, see if you back-off the star-wheel, maybe the brakes are holding the drum?
