Put a new battery and new generator on,,The generator light keeps coming on...The car wouldn't start so we try to charge the battery and the battery had a full charge what can this problem be

If the engine wouldn't start, of course the generator light will be on when the ignition switch is on. What exactly is the symptom? "Doesn't start" can mean a number of things. Does the starter crank the engine fast enough to start and run? Does the starter not crank the engine?
