Can you tell me the location of the neutral safety switch on a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500? I think it's under the hood on the steering column, but I'm not sure.

That's an old one. Check on the side of the transmission. There should be an electrical switch screwed into the side of the trans. It should be on the same side as the linkage.
