12 volt charging system not working

A car came into my shop for the battery light on, we changed the battery and the starter generator, but light is still on the dtc code is p1a93. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you clear the code does it come right back is it current code? If so trouble tree says replace sgcm.

Also check for an open circuit or fus,e but trouble tree says if the code is current replace sgcm.
