One of four doors will not lock?

Will the disconnecting battery and removing and reinserting fuse trick work for me?

Hi,

If it is only one that is acting up, chances are that won't take care of the issue. It sounds like either one of the actuators has failed, or there is a wire damaged.

I looked at the schematics and found it hard to believe it was 4 pages long. LOL Regardless, here is what I need you to do.

At each door latch assembly, there will be an electrical connector. Each door will have a brown wire with a yellow tracer and a gray wire.

Disconnect the connector and using a test lamp or multimeter, have a helper press the lock button while you check the brown/yellow wire for power. Then, have the helper press the unlock button while you check the gray wire for power.

If you have power at both wires under the conditions mentioned, the actuator is bad and will need to be replaced. If there is no power, let me know what door it is and I will try to narrow things down for you.
