Rough Idle

2007 SATURN ION
200,000 MILES • 2.2L • 4 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

Runs for 4 seconds then chokes out, won't turn over again for a long wait... haven't timed how long the wait is. I've checked fuel it's good, Oil level was low so oil was added. removed throttle body and cleaned it, noticed the metal plate stays open.

The throttle plate should be closed. If you can, manually close it, clear any trouble codes present and start the vehicle. It may idles up and down some as idle is relearned. Please let me know how this goes.

I replaced throttle body because I figured it had a bad sensor in the throttle body and car ran great for for 5 minutes or so... Then choked out again. 02 sensor pops up under faults but that was replaced 8 - 10 months ago.
