I was parked. Truck was idling and began this weird rough idling and stalled. After three attempts started but seemed to limp the rest of the way home. The pedal was to the floor but it just limped. Set for an hour or more. Went out to start it and it started and ran fine. Had this issue before and replaced the throttle body. Any idea what this could be that it keeps occurring?

Truck listed above is a 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi.

Have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? Also, have you checked the fuel pressure? This could be related to a fuel pump issue. Also, the crankshaft position sensor can also be the cause.

Take a look through this link and let me know if anything mirrors what you experience:

Let me know what has been done to date.
