I noticed the check transmission light is flashing and the vehicle starts off in second gear and does not go out of second gear while driving. it does have reverse so I took it to my dad's and put it on the scanner and it is throwing shift solenoid codes and torque converter codes. my dad says it sounds like it is electrical. I went and asked about transmission control module, but apparently there is none for that vehicle. I did notice that there is a plug. it is a three wire plug that is not plugged in somewhere coming off of a harness near the transmission. I was just wondering is there anything else that it could be before I go and try to replace the transmission? I am going to put up some images of the codes that it is throwing.

Okay, so I looked at the fuses under the hood and #28 was blown. Just replaced it go to start the car and turned the key and nothing. I took the key out and the vehicle tried to start with the key in my lap. Feels like it engaged into drive also. I have it in park so it does not move. But what if this thing is possessed?

see a transmission professional about this. it is in limp mode because it probably needs a rebuild or a valve body problem. it is giving you shift solenoid code because the clutches are probably worn. check fluid ifyou can if dark brown or black it is toast. also, check main harness to transmission, if wires are broken etc that may be the problem as well. and check grounds on battery, engine, etc. there are two connectors separate one is for output shaft and other for turbine speed sensor. it is on rear side of transmission.
