Hello,

It sounds like you have a plugged catalytic converter. Here is a guide that will help you see if that is the problem or not.

Here is a vacuum line diagram

Please let us know what happens.

The machanic I paid to work on it actualy either cut or penched a electrcal line to one of the sensors I have not found witch one yet but indoing so it set off other sensors and caused transaxle light to come on dash and when that light comes on the ford taurus has a failsafe when it comes on and wont let the car shift into 3rd or 4th gear so I check all the fuses under hood and sure enough a 15 amp fuse number 28 was blown so replaced it and car returned to normal of course it keeps blowing fuse till I locate the source if anyone has diagram from fuse box to all stuff that would be great thanks for trying to answer my question

Hello,

I found the wiring diagram you needed with the #28 fuse which it looks like it powers the PCM relay which would definitely cause problems.

Please let us know what happens.
