2004 Saturn ion... car will start then die immediately. I have checked and rechecked all wiring and fuses with no resolution. fuel pump seems to be operating normally. diagnostic computer code shows a problem with security system. key was previously broken off in ignition but had no problem starting or running until rsdio was stolen.

What is the exact code numbers you have? Is the security light on solid or flashing while the key is in the run position?If so its most likely a bad ignition switch really common on those cars.
