Hello,
Please note that the typical gasoline can have up to 10% of ethanol and the E15 can have anywhere from 10.5% to 15%. So technically it is not much higher of a percentage. As you know higher percentage of ethanol can lead to premature wear in plastic components in the fuel system. But it will happen only if you are keep using the high ethanol fuel for an extended period of time.
So just one time use should not have any harmful impact. What you can do is to fill up again when you are may be half empty, this will dilute the fuel closer to the recommended level.
According to the US department of energy the E15 fuel is not recommended to use on vehicles older than 2001.
So you should not have any issues.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
