After driving either a short or long distance and then shutting off for ten to twenty minutes it will not restart (it will not turn over or make a clicking noise or anything). If I leave it set for forty five minutes to an hour then it will start like nothing was wrong. This happens very rare but it always seems to happen when I am in a place where I cannot check it out or I am in a hurry.

It sounds like the starter is failing intermittently. you could hook up a feed back light to see if the starter is getting power to the trigger wire when it will not start. Would you be interested in installing one of those to see what is going on?
