So it sounds like the engine will not stay running, correct? Can I ask if you have a check engine light on? If so, let's run the codes to see which ones are stored, this guide can help:

I can tell you have seen the IAC motor stop working and cause this issue. Here is the location so you can remove it and either clean it or get a replacement.
