Hes been trying to figure it out but cant it cranks but doesnt turn over and this mechanic went to uti and has been our family mechanic for years and is pretty good but this has him stumped and I need my car.

Sorry, the computer went crazy. As far as the fuel pump, he needs to start by checking to see if the pump is getting power. If it is, then the pump has gone bad. If there is no power, have him check at the fuel pump relay to see if there is power there.

Its possible the ASD relay sounds like the guy who fixed your car is pretty flakey. Charged you 500 for A car that ran before and now doesnt run.

When you get the car it will be easier to help you. First see if you have any codes in the computer?See if you have power and ground to the fuel pump while cranking the engine?

Saturntech, what do you think about my theory regarding the crank sensor? If they had the flywheel out, they could have pinched a wire, left it disconnected, or even damaged it.

That could be a possibility its not hard to pinch wires when removing the transmission and putting it back in.
