I have the car listed above that won't go into park. All the other gears work fine. The transmission cable is disconnected as well as the neutral safety switch. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks

So, the transmission will not go into park? Or the shifter will not go into park? Please let me know so I can help you.

Usually it will be the shifter is falling apart or the shifter cable needs to be replaced. Let remove the shifter cable for the transmission to check the movement of the shifter and the transmission gear selector arm. I marked the picture you should remove the nut so the transmission will be loose so make sure the car is on level ground with the parking brake set. Also, I noticed the cable has an adjustment on it so that can be an option as well. Once undone, move the shifter and the transmission selector to check the range and operation. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

If the cable has been disconnected and you still cant get the shifter into park the problem will be the shifter, I would remove the trim for inspection, I have seen coins get stuck inside the shifter to stop it from working correctly.
