Last nite the brakelight and the battery light came on, I went today and replaced the battery.I started the car, same lights came on.I checked all my fuses they were good.I checked the wires to the starter and alternator, they were tight. So I started the car, removed the neg. Cable from the battery. The car was still running, but the windshield wipers came on very fast.I turned the car off. And removed the neg. Cable. So my battery wouldn't drain. Whats causeing this problem?

Never, never remove the battery cable with the engine running. It tests nothing and harms computers and control systems.

Anyway, you have an alternator issue. Use a voltmeter and test the voltage at the battery with the engine running
