I have removed the bolts from the unit but the arm is attached and I do not know how to get to it.

You have to remove the wiper arms from the shafts, then the cowl panel grill so that you can get to the retainer that holds the drive arm to the motor. Then you can remove the motor itself.
What is the issue you are having?

I didn't want to force the cowl and I haven't done so yet because of time and weather.
Thank You

Plastic parts are such fun in the cold. When you get to it we'll still be here.

Hello

I got it done, but wish I had looked for the washer pump because it doesn't work, where is it?

Thank You

Ed

It's in the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir. Simple two wire connector. Verify that you are getting power to the connector when the wash button is pushed. The easiest way to replace it would be to get a new tank and pump, assemble those and install them. That is because the retaining ring for the pump tears the plastic housing enough that 50% of the time they don't stay in place.
