Will not start on its own

I change the fuel pump on my Ford Excursion but yet it will still not start I had cycled the key at least 3 to 4 times before trying to start it still no response I sprayed liquid starter into it and it started right up no problem then stalled and shut off fuel pump is getting electricity once I start cycling it I feel the machine working pumping fuel in the front of the vehicle after its done cycling and mix I could decompression sound like very short and quick I don't know what to do do you think you can help me thank you for your time
