Alright, so one night, my horn started going off out of nowhere, I have recently changed my transmission, no problems there didn't have reverse and now I do, and I have a delay shift now, but I got that under control drove it that night for a couple of hours no problems at all. Come out the next morning to start it, it started and then it shut off and it won't start, it will crank and turn over but then shut off what is my darn problem?

The truck listed above is 1500.

Hi,

The first thing I have to ask is have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? If not, that is where I would start to see if there is something present that can point us in the right direction.

Here is a link that explains how to scan the system:

Next, if possible, could you record what it's doing and upload it for me to hear? Keep in mind, we could have a fuel issue or ignition issue. You indicate it starts and then stalls. Is there any smoke from the exhaust or odd odors?

Let me know as much as you can.

Take care,

Joe
