After replacing the engine it will not crank and the lights are not working properly

I drop in the engine in the truck listed above. It won't crank, the marker lights are on even if I have the key pulled out. An Also, I have no dashboard lights on my cluster. Where did I go wrong or where should I start looking?

From the description it sounds like there are a few connectors that are either bad or damaged. As I read this you put a 2004 engine into the 2003 correct? What did the 2004 engine come out of? Which wiring harness did you use on it?
