My car listed above is pumping white smoke out the exhaust after having a faulty mass air flow to ECM cable replaced.

I had a code for mass air flow sensor saying it was the problem, after I took it to the chevy auto repair center they said I needed to replace my mass air flow to ECM cable/wiring and the valve cover. After that I took it to my cheaper auto repair place and they replaced the wiring and the cover. After they replaced the cable and left the car idling for a few minutes it started to pump out white smoke from the exhaust. They are not sure what's causing it. They suspect it needed to be wired differently from the original, but they're not sure.

Also, we bought the cable/wiring from the dealer Chevrolet.

That's a good one, can I ask if the white smoke smells pungent? If so you may have a blown head gasket, Also it could be a defective MAF sensor, do you have a check engine light on? If so I would swap out the MAF sensor.

Here is more information and two guides to help us fix the problem.
