After driving at least 20 minutes my car starts making a whining or grinding noise. I notice it more when I turn the wheel to the right. Thought it was my wheel bearing/ hub assembly had that changed on my passenger side July 25th, 2022, after changing that the noise isn't so bad, but it comes and goes? What could be causing this? Also had the driver side hub assembly done in December 2021. The mechanic said my brakes and rotors look fine. I'm at a loss here.

The fact that when you turn is changes says hub bearing, can I ask what brand of parts you are using? Also, I have seen the tire tread make noise as well. Can you run your hand over the tire tread and see if it feels smooth or bumpy? If so, I would rotate the tires front to back. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response.

Here is how to replace the hub bearing correctly. Also, if they overtighten the CV axle nut it can overload the hub bearing. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

A video I took today the day after I got my passenger hub assembly done. Maybe a vacuum leak?

Thanks for the videos, yep you can hear it grinding, if it were a vacuum leak, you can change it by letting off of the throttle and then getting back on it again, the noise should change. Can you tell if the noise is coming from the front for sure? Does it still respond or change when you turn right or left? I have seen non OEM units go bad very quickly so if the noise is coming from the driver's side, I would say it is out again.

Yep, that is the problem with noises like this. It is hard to tell where the noise is coming from, you might want to jack the car up in the rear and then just spin the tires to see if one of them makes a noise. This guide can help:

It sounds like the parking brake shoes are grinding or the rear bearing hub I have left instructions on how to change both of these items out. Also check the rear brake pads. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
