My A/C is blowing hot air. I know my blend door actuator is faulty because I hear the constant clicking and popping in the dash area. I’ve replaced the driver side actuator probably five times in the past year and the rear actuator once. I just read about them needing recalibration, so maybe that’s why the actuators are clicking after six months of use.

Hi,

As far as recalibration is concerned, it isn't necessary on this vehicle. The blend door actuators do not require mechanical indexing to the blend-air doors, as they are electronically calibrated by the A/C-heater control.

Also, if it worked for six months, calibration isn't an issue. Also, if you hear clicking again, the actuator is likely bad.

Where are you getting the actuators? Also, has it been the same brand each time?

Let me know. Also, take a look through this link to determine if anything was missed when installing the new parts.
