In my van I keep having problems with the A/C or heater. It's the second time in 2 years I don't have high fan. I have low and medium but no high. I comes on sometimes, but does not stay. It takes a lot longer to cool off or heat up self. This is only at panel rear working fine. Last time I took it in the mechanic said just change fuse is all it was. I see fuses marked A/C, but there are several A/C and Fan Fuses marked under dash and in engine compartment. Which one is it? I don't know and I never got info last time of which one it was.

Remove the washer fluid/radiator overflow reservoir. Under the blower motor is a resistor bank with a plug with about 7 wires. You are going to find burnt plug pins. You can get the plug harness at Autozone. My pins were the 2 big outside ones. I didn't know I could get the pigtail, so I hacksawed the 2 burnt wires and framework off each end of the plug and just crimped bayonet fin terminals on the 2 outside wires and plugged them in.

All settings work now with the butchered plug in with the center 5 wires and the repaired wire pins.
