My vehicle listed above SV, when will it need a tune up or spark plug replacement? How much does that tune up cost at tire kingdom? Since they need to remove intake manifold and related components to access direct ignition coils spark plug boots and spark plugs.

Yep, at 85,000 it is time for a tune up. here is how the job is done and how much it will cost. You should service the throttle body as well. Here are two generic guides to help walk you through the procedure and show you how the job is done with images below to show you how to do it in your car.

Spark Plugs, R&R 1.6 HRS @ shop labor rate. For the spark plugs the throttle bore service will be extra. Also have them check the air filter as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

The estimated tune up cost is very prohibitive plus if I disconnect the electronic gas pedal or accelerator pedal which is not cable operated then the idle speed of the engine will be upset so I will have to live with the old spark plugs and the possible misfire and rough running they must cause and anyway the spark plugs are supposed to go 100,000 miles according to the owner manual, I will just give it another synthetic oil change to keep the crankshaft and its bearings from seizing up or failing to turn over or crank or rotate which is a lot worse than performance problems like misfiring and rough running and thank you for enlightening me about the prohibitive two hour labor cost.
