Hi,
Any OBD2 scanner that can read ABS codes should read it. Or, you can check the sensors with a multi-meter. All a wheel speed sensor does is create a low voltage signal via magnets. So, by connecting a multi meter to the sensor plug and turning the wheel, you will see a voltage reading. If there is no reading, the sensor isn't working. That is about the cheapest way to do it. Here is a link that explains how it's done:

As far as scanners, I'm not a salesman. However, if you simply inquire for one that does read codes, other than just power-train codes, specifically ABS, or wheel speed sensor codes, there is no reason why it shouldn't work. This vehicle has an OBD 2 system which is required in the US and it should work.
If you look at the attached picture, it indicates the models of Sprinters that were available in 2013. If you indicate which one you have, I can get you sensor information, wiring, procedures and so on. Another thing that you may find beneficial are Bluetooth set ups for OBD2 systems. Basically, a small device is plugged into the OBD port which connects with your phone. I was given one and it works great. It doesn't take the place of my scan tool, but I take it with me and it reads everything. The brand is Blue Driver.
Let me know if I can help.
