Car shut off while driving and will not start

All lights flashed on just before losing all electrical power. I have had a mechanic change out my battery, alternator and started. The car will crank and stay on while the jumper cables are on but once removed the car will once again shut completely down. What other problems could cause this car not to start?

We need to get the back story and progression on this. When the engine shut off, you had it towed to the shop and they replaced these parts and now it will not stay running without jumper cables? Or did these parts get replaced and then some time later it will not run without jumper cables?

Clearly when the vehicle will not run without jumper cables then the battery and charging system are the likely cause.
