What is the procedure for testing the maf?

Code P0171 and P0174. I cleaned the maf with proper cleaner also changed air and fuel filter. Would like to like to test the MAF to verify it is working properly but need procedure to do so. Thank you for any help or info.

I would be looking for a vacuum leak the number one thing I have seen cause those codes on the fords are vacuum leaks. I would check actual fuel pressure and for vacuum leaks if you reset the codes how quickly will the code reset?

Thank you! I took plastic cover off of intake and found not 1 but 2 vacuum leaks near the back of the intake. This should fix the problem and thank you for the info.

Your welcome also check the pcv hose and grommets for leaks also pretty common. Your welcome glad I could help.
