What happens to engine if running in ilde for more time

I need to use a car as generator so I would run it in idle for 10 Hours. I tap output from alternator and use it as a power source.

What will happen to engine if I run it in idle for so much time?

No issues should occur. You have to think if you have ever driven a car for more than 10 hours straight on a hot highway. All you need to do is make sure your engine oil is not within a few hundred miles of needing to be changed, and of course your fuel level is good. Don't run any accessories in the car such as radio, A/C, heat, or anything of that nature.
