What is causing three machines to diagnosis misfiring

Well, for the past three years I never had an issue with it until this week when my engine check light came on.
I took it to a mechanic in was told after the diagnostic that it is misfiring. So he changed four coil packs using the new imitation bran. The light came back on in the afternoon and then he changed the plugs this cost me 1800tt.
This happened Monday, apart from this by Wednesday afternoon the light came back on. I went to another mechanic and he did the diagnostic again and it says misfiring. He advised me to take the foreign use coil pack which I did tell the first mechanic, but the first mechanic got them for me, the second mechanic changed it, but he noticed one of the spark plugs was cracked. So I ended up changing spark plugs again and obviously paid an additional cost of 630.

It sounds like the first shop didn't do a good job troubleshooting the problem so they threw parts at it. The second shop discovered the cracked plug, which would cause a misfire. If the light is now out they did manage to repair it after a fashion. I try to never use aftermarket parts if possible as many times they create more problems.

The second shop, I am not quite sure if the plug was cracked in or while they were taking it out, they showed me after so I can't say for surety.
But I am extremely frustrated having changed it twice and same problem.

Okay, in that case it sounds like they need to test some more. Did you get to see the code they pulled the other times? If it is a random misfire in more than one cylinder check the fuel pressure and quality. If it is a single cylinder misfire then the easy way to test is to swap the coil and plug into different cylinders. Then look to see which one starts missing.
If it stays on the cylinder under test it could be an injector, valve issue or compression issue.

Yes that's normal, lets run the codes yourselves to see what the code is so we can fix it. Here is a guide to get us started:

I have seen the MAF sensor cause this issue. here is a guide to help you service or replace the meter:

Please run down these guides and report back.

The p0300 is a misfire code, P0102 MAF sensor fault and P0113 is a air Intake temperature sensor. I would do a full tune up using OEM parts and replace the MAF sensor as well. Then clear the codes to see what happens. This guide will help walk you through the steps:

and clear codes.

I would also check the wiring around the MAF. Believe that they have the IAT installed in the MAF on that engine. If so a bad power or ground that feeds them could cause both codes. The P0113 is IAT circuit high input while the P0102 is the MAF reporting a low voltage input. Both could be caused by a bad or corroded connection. I hate replacing parts if they won't really help so I try to eliminate any other issues first.

The P0113 and P0102 only came up after the sensor was taken out, the ECU recognized it came out and brought up the code. However, when place back the codes did not show up except the P0300. I am extremely frustrated because apparently mechanics don't know what to do.

Okay, that is better. That means it still has a random misfire but the others are history codes. Have them check for vacuum leaks first, then do a fuel pressure test. You need to look for things that effect all cylinders not just individuals. If they can read the mode 6 data and see which cylinders are showing misses that might narrow down the area faster.

That would do it. Here is the location of the ECM you will need to have it programmed to the car should cost about $130.00. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
