I got an jdm engine and clutch replaced after the past engine blew up. My car is either making a ticking or knocking noise at 2,000 RPMs to 2,500 RPMs then goes away. The engine I bought has 55,000 miles. The ticking or knocking doesn’t happen when I’m at idle and rev up to 2,000 RPMs to 2,500 RPMs. This only happens when driving. Side note: engine feels fine when driving but it also has a rough start and sometimes shakes a bit on idle, but RPMs just move a little from 600 RPMs to 700 RPMs.

It kind of sounds like the flywheel is loose. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. Does it make noise in gear with the clutch depressed? For the running problem please start a new question and we will fix the noise on this thread.
