We have frame we have motor and we dont know where to start

My fiancée recently bought a 1971 cj5 jeep. Hehas always loved jeeps and his dream was to rebuild a jeep. He bought a 1971 cj5 jeep. However, its a frame and a motor and we don't even know if the transmission is any good. We do not know where to start to rebuild this jeep. We have no dash lights no gas tank no brake lines gas lines etc. He has taken on three children that were mine and not his and has made our lives amazing. Please let me know where we should start to begin making his dream come true. Where do we shop what dow we look for?

We have a body. Thank y'all for your help! My main problem is getting an inventory list together and diagrams. He has worked on vehicles but has never basically put one together from scratch. We have transmission and motor runs. We are not sure the transmission works. The body is in good shape. There is no dash meters, head lights, parking lights, reverse lights the carb isn't in good shape we want this road and off road durable. We want a beast so to speak.

IT'S REALLY PRETTY SIMPLE

IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES YOU COULD BE ROADWORTHY.

BEST-US THING TO DO IS START OUT CLEANING/ SANDBLASTING THE FRAME. PRIMING AND PAINT. ANY WELDING OR FIXES

REPLACE/ REPACK BEARINGS AND NEW SEALS IN THE AXLES AS WELL AS SEALS AND SUCH ON THE TRANNY AND TRANSFER CASE

THIS WOULD BE A GREAT TIME TO INSTALL A CLUTCH AND REPLACE UNIVERSAL JOINTS

THEN THE BRAKES. WHILE IT'S LIGHTWEIGHT AND EZ TO GET TO. ALSO KEEPS YOU FROM MESSING UP BODY AND PAINT LATER
