Thirty seconds after starting the truck a chime will start for like 4 or 5 and stop for about 30 seconds and do it again?

When I start my truck after 30 seconds a chime will start for like 4 or 5 and stop for about 30 seconds and do it again. It will keep doing it. But if I turn the ignition off and back on again it won't chime again until I stop and start it again and it will start with the chime again until I turn off ignition and start again. It's running fine. No smoke, no misfire, plenty of power. I am totally baffled here. It has been doing it for about 4 weeks.

So, inside the key tumbler there is a contact switch that tells the BCM there is a key in the ignition switch so you don't forget it when leaving the car, but if this contact wears it will cause the key chime to go off even with the truck running. You will need a new key lock tumbler to fix the problem. Here is how the job is done, which should fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
