When I start my car after sitting for a long period of time with my seat belt off the warning beep goes off. If I start my car with the seat belt off for a short period off time the seat belt light flashes, but it does not make the warning beep does not go off. It I drive the car with the seat belt off it does still make the warning beeping sound. Does anyone know if there a way to rest it. Thank

No it can't be reset and I think it only does that for passenger side. Have it scanned as it may be a bcm problem. Also if yo are putting computers, cell phone wires large container of liquids and or groceries on passenger seat this may be the cause as well.

A bcm is a module inside the car that controls a lot of things. It has to be scanned with a pro type scanner as auto parts scanners only pick up eng/trans codes. This will not set a checkenglight or abs it operates seat stuff and other items inside the car. This car should be under warranty anyhow
