I have many problems in my car and I checked almost everything.
I have changed my ECU because the old one was damaged with a new one I bought it from the internet but the serial number is different.
the old one serial number is 036 906 034 GR and the new one is 036 906 034 JR
and I programed it in a VW dealer.
I am wondering if the new ECU could be the problem because is different in the last two letters?

I don't know what "many problems" is or what "checked everything" means. You didn't list any symptoms or test results. The best I can do with no information to go on is to suggest the letters at the end of the part number just mean one is an improved or updated version. Some change of significance was made to improve reliability or address a minor problem, and they gave it a different suffix to denote that. I don't know what was wrong with the old computer but the two you listed should interchange.
