I have a 2001 Volvo V70. When I have locked my car with my remote my turn lights, real lights along with my side markers have lit up to let me know my alarm was armed. Like a visual. Recently I noticed that this has not been happening. But the red light on my dash blinks when the alarm it armed. So I know the alarm is working. Is there a fuse that can be blown that could stop my lights from blinking to give a visual that my car alarm has been armed? Or if there is not a fuse what can I look for next? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No the problem is that you have a bad microswitch in one of the doors. When all the doors, trunk, and the hood are closed you get the confirmation flash when you arm the alarm. You are going to need to take it to a shop or Volvo to read off the door parameters to see which one is saying it is open. If I were to guess I believe the hood is the culprit since the instrument cluster will not tell you it is open verses if you have a door or the trunk is open the cluster tells you it is open. Do this. Have all doors closed except the hood. Arm the alarm and then slam the hood shut. If it flashes then you know the microswitch is bad. Now you have 2 latches for the hood. The one with the microswitch is the left side latch (driver side) and to replace is not easy since the bumper and headlight assemblies and the center beam above the radiator all has to come out.
