Transmission problem
2001 Volvo V70 Automatic 70,000 miles

I bought this car from a used Volvo lot about 7 months ago. I had front struts replaced and a leaky radiator repaired. Two days later the car dies while making a turn. Volvo says it would be $6K to fix it and they are taking no responsibility for damage from the previous repair.
Is it possible that they messed something up when they did the repair? I had no engine noise etc, to indicate and transmission trouble.
Please help.

Volvo acknowledged that their mechanic caused the problem that I had, "after".I called AAA to tow the car to another Volvo location for a second opinion and threatened to take them to court! They are paying to have the car towed back and they will repair every damage at no cost to me!
The struts are connected to the drive shaft which the drive shaft is supposed to ingage the transmission. The mechanic to properly support the drive shaft.
What is done in the dark will be exposed in the Light!
