How do I change the light in the shift compartment

Using a bone tool pry up on the trim piece around the gear selector indicator carefully. Once you have the back end partially up, insert fingers down the bottom to start releasing the locking tabs for the gear shift indicator trim piece so that you move it out the way. The bulb will be to the right side. Twist of the socket to replace bulb.
