Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2000 Volvo S80 Front Wheel Drive

What is going to happen when I pullthe front right tranaxle out of the transmisioin to install a new one? I started to pull it and oil/fluid began to leak out and isstill leaking out. Have I damage a seal that I need to replace with the new transaxle?

Yes sometimes oil will leak out of there when you remove the axle. And usually if your going to remove the axle to replace since you are already there just replace the seal to be in the safe side.
