Replaced passenger CV axle

I drive a 98 volvo s70, 5 cyinder engine, with 153,000 miles.

i had the passenger side cv axle replaced this morning in hopes of eliminating all of the problems I was told were associated with the broken shaft. These problems include clanking noises, alignment issues, brake problems, wobbling, and loss of control in any kind of precipitation. The car literally whips and swerves uncontrollably in rain, sleet, or snow. I had a wreck over a year ago that involved having the axle replaced and lots of work on the undercarriage. I haven't driven in rain since I had the cv replaced this morning (and i'm almost afraid to), but the brakes don't seem to be functioning any better than before and the clanking only got louder, and now there's even a pop when I turn the wheel to the right. Is there anyone out there who can tell me what is going on?

I do not have a link but what you can do is go to autozone and they have this thing called Z net that shows you step by step on how to change it

Reading it sounds like the axle wasn't installed properly, they didn't stab it right. Lift the car, jack it properly and look whether the axle is turning. Improper adjustment of wheel bearings- or something is loose.
